About MOOSKIN

A small but mighty range, made by a Beauty Therapist who'd had enough of rubbish products.

I'm Amy, and I created MOOSKIN because I was sick of what was out there. I've been waxing for over 25 years, I launched Mooeys salons in 2013 and we have been waxing thousands of clients ever since. Waxing is completely our thing, it's what we specialise in. And every time I went looking for something to put on a client's skin after an intimate wax, I was met with the same thing. Cheap, nasty products full of fillers and ingredients I couldn't pronounce, let alone justify putting on someone's skin straight after a treatment.

I never understood it. If our therapists were caring for clients with this much thought, why was the aftercare such an afterthought?

So I made my own.

It all started with a signature blend.

Five essential oils, each chosen for what they actually do:

  • Lavender

    For soothing any redness or irritation, and is fab at calming reactive skin

  • Rose Geranium

    Because it shows so much love to sensitive and irritated skin, Keeps things calm

  • Palmarosa

    The natural healer. Antiseptic, antibacterial, anti-fungal, even better than tea tree

  • Neroli

    It smells delicious, loves soothing your skin, and it's my favourite essential oil in the world!

  • Spearmint

    Because it brings more medicinal properties than tea tree, and frankly smells a lot better

This blend became the heart of everything MOOSKIN does.

Our Three Core Products

  • Then came Soothe.

    A body lotion built for use during waxing, manicures and pedicures. Hydrating without being greasy. Calming for irritated skin. Soft and absorbent enough to use anywhere.

    We've since discovered it's an incredible after-sun, brilliant on tired feet, and gentle enough for the whole family.

  • Then came Care.

    A 100% natural body oil that could be used before and after waxing — but also good enough for cuticle care, hair treatments, beard care, after-sun, and as a shave medium for anyone who suffers with razor burn. The argan oil makes it especially good for hair and nails. It does so much more than its name suggests.

  • Then came Calm.

    A rose and aloe water tonic to cleanse, hydrate and calm.

    Brilliant for travelling, for hot days, for cooling sun-kissed skin, cleaning the skin and for crunching into damp hair to create beachy waves.

    Calm is a tonic, so can be used as a spritz or as a post cleanse toner. The perfect holiday companion.
